Yes Jenny, i'll motivate and whip ya into shape.....

Actually swimming is a great choice of exercise. Its low impact and less stress on the joints and ligaments. And, an awesome cardio routine as well! I wish I could find the time.....i'm jealous.....

And i'm sadden to say, yes, sugar is no good for ya. Its almost impossible to cut out all sugar and not realistic but you can control the amount. Sugar, if not burned entirely when ingested, will be converted into fat. That's the simple explanation and easy to remember. So, where to start? NO MORE SODA! I've had 3 so far this year! And you may as well throw out alcohol as well....I know, drastic measures but it will yield drastic results. Beer and alcohol have too much sugar and calories....I drink mostly water and coffee....I'll have "one" glass of wine or beer whilst eating out or socially here and there....but that's it. Also, watch out for HFCS.....they put this stuff in everything! Those sneaky little monsters. For me, it was a lifestyle change. You have to evaluate yourself and see how far you want to take it....

NOW GET IN THE POOL!

I got in the pool! And, my legs said NO NOT AGAIN! It's amazing the workout you get by just swimming laps.

I agree, it is a lifestyle change. My mindset was I hike so that's my exercise. But, I don't hike all the time so I need to have a normal exercise routine. I'm all about little changes at a time. If I go gung-ho all at once I know I'll get discouraged and just quite altogether. So, number one - getting an exercise routine in place. Number 2 - cutting out the soda (that's my morning coffee).

Well, its a somber beginning today. I'm tired. The coffee hasn't quite induce enough artificial adrenaline yet and this music i'm listening to (Dirty Projectors - Bitte Orca) is about to get the boot. I mean its this close (holding forefinger and thumb about a cm apart) from being deleted from the Zune permanently.....and I rarely ever do that.....

Anywho....later today, i'm scheduled to give blood....215pm....the company has a blood drive today and I decided to sign up at the last minute.....so, i'll hit the gym for some needed leg work, eat lunch, drink an ocean of water and then go get prodded by the Red Cross.....

Right now.....its time for another cup of coffee........

Been a tad busy 'round the Estate.  The Outpost just got new flooring throughout, now it only needs some trim and transition, then we'll be moving crap in.

Behind on the domestics; gotta a little laundry to do it appears.  Went to the Zoo last Friday with #1's class; it was like herding cats.

Pride and Prejudice, my favorite story. I hope it's a good production!

We finally got all of our computer issues resolved. Over at the other place I was bemoaning that I lost music. images, and lots of other data due to the power source puking out last week. Turns out that when HPM buttoned everything back up he hooked up the second hard drive that's outdated and under powered.

Hope you enjoy the play, Loopey. Pride is Prejudice is one of my favorite stories.

Well, I didn't workout yesterday. Wednesdays are always one of my busiest days. But, today and tomorrow I'm hitting the pool. And, maybe some camping on Friday. It's supposed to be nice and I need some fresh air.

Happy Thursday all. Looks like it's gonna be crowded over here for a while.

Another week has fallen by the wayside. Let the weekend commence!

Pride and Prejudice....the play was quite entertaining. The production was of the local variety and was done with surprising professionalism. No botched lines and was an enjoyable evening.

Today....haircut! I think i'm down to getting one 4 maybe 5 time a year.....I keep saying i'm gonna let it grow long like yester-year when I had the Peter Frampton look but then I chicken out.....

After that...I need to drive down to Delaware and pick up a painting....finally too because my framer broke her ankle and has been sidelined for a few weeks....then when I get home, I get to hang it! Yippee....

The weekend looks like more cabinet finishing work.....i'm halfway done installing end panels and trim....the tough stuff is ahead.....the island has outlet boxes I need to contend with....not looking forward to it......then I need to seal the grout....its been a month since the tile was laid and next week the house will be filled with people, lots of kids and I don't want to chance getting it stained with spilled soda or juice.....oy vey.....
