Q, I don't know the exact weight, but I paid a steep 120 CHF for it (the jacket on the picture I posted though was cheaper). I guess it is much cheaper in the US (Switzerland is a high price country).
I'd say check out the Montbelle website for the technical data. It packs so small and is so light I have it in my little ladies shoulder bag all the time. Last Sunday, for example, it rained all day long while we took a walk through Boston. My friend had an umbrella, but the wind kept blowing rain at us and we still got quite wet. The wind jacket was perfect to keep me dry. I was very pleased.
For a day long hike in the rain I would still prefer my goretex jacket.
