I sure wouldn't ask him to move over so I could belly up to the berry bush.

'nother pic of the bear

Crimson Bee-Balm along the trail to Linville Falls

Loads of clover near the summit of Mt. Mitchell, and so many bees there was a constant, loud BZZZZ.

The blueberries on Andrews were not yet ripe as of a week ago; plenty of Mountain Ash berries higher up on Forney Ridge though.

I didn't go down Sparks though I did go through Cades Cove just to enjoy the freshly paved loop.

The blueberries were also nearly peaking on Mt. Pisgah and the sourwoods were blooming between Asheville and Cherokee.

I started up at Mabry Mill, spent three days on the Parkway, then met the family for a few days in the GSMNP.

We were in Cades Cove this past week, but the place was packed with morons, not including us of course ;) I told my son I would take him back when it's not so busy.

You still in Memphis, Chili?  You went from Happy Valley to Memphis area right?  I just found this site and haven't posted on TT in years.

There is never a shortage of morons in Cades Cove.  I once saw a guy burst out of the woods chasing a deer so he could get a good picture.

Well, I hope you like it better.  I cringed when I heard you were moving to Memphis.  That's the last place in TN I'd want to live.

Jackson is much better than Memphis. I suspect I will get transferred again in a year or so

Great pictures, crazy.
How do you post pictures on latta thread? Have been trying, but couldn't make it work.
Would love to post some pictures from Norway.
