my shirts came that i ordered last month, YAY!  two in sage green and one in blue.  i already had one in khaki, i ordered another in khaki.  my boots still arent done.  apparently the boot guy at REI went on vacation and nobody told me.  how annoying.  the shirts are great.  i roll up the sleeves and tab them and they are so loose and comfortable and cool, they have an SPF 30.  the sage green is really pretty.  i love that i can fit boys clothes, they only cost me $19.83 each!  going to be great for camp this summer.  and i especially love that Steve Jr gave me those gift cards, best moms day gift ever!!!

I feel lucky, in a way. There is not any gear I really need. This past Trail Days I only bought me some socks and a new head-lamp. I am always checking out gear sales looking for good deals, but lately I don't ever buy anything. I guess I need to get out more so I can wear out some stuff so I can buy something new.

I have tried the Two Pole System...I keep two just for tarp poles in dry weather.

I started with the 1 pole system. The first time I went to the 2 pole system I felt awkward at first, but after a few trips I am hooked. I can't hike without my trekking poles now.

Well today I ordered a new sleeping bag. Can't wait until it gets here. I got the Montbell U.L. Super Stretch 15 deg. Hugger #1. Has anyone else tried this bag? BTW my wife is going to be pi$$ed.
