Someone at trail days last weekend was telling a funny story. Someone gave a tablet to another guy to try....but the dumby didn't realize what it was and just ate it. LOL.

I didn't know what a NUNN was. Those things are expensive.
Thermotabs are about four bucks for 100.

I tried the NUNNS at Trail Days. They were ok, but I have never been a fan of any type of artificial sweeteners. I am sure after a few days on the trail it would taste better. I do like how light they are and how easy it would be to pack.

i picked up a tube today - the tri-berry flavor. I'll test 'em out this weekend, but for now the flavor is 'ok', not great, but not bad either. Which is actually pretty good for this sort of drink type thing.
By the way - the guy at REI told me that in that 'section' (cliff bars, cliff shots, nuun, etc) they have a 'bulk purchase discount' - if you buy 12 items don't have to be the same - you can mix cliff bars, with nuun, with cliff shots, and such - then you get 20% off!
I had no idea they offered that.... thought i'd share.

If anyone cares to try it, a packet of raspberry emergen-C mixed into a bottle of orange gatorade is very tasty.
That nuun stuff looks like a good product, but I dislike their website. I still plan on ordering some of their newest flavor, orange-ginger.

The cola NUUNs have some caffeine in them to. Good for staving off caffeine withdrawals on the trail
