jen-e......hope your son gets well soon! I know there's a lot of stuff going around. And don't you get sick either.....disinfect!

I love the Price is Right! I don't think i've caught the show with Drew either but regardless of the nonsense pinned to Bob....I love the guy for what he did on the show.

I remember watching the Price is Right every day at my grandma and grandpa's house when I was 4. Drew is ok, but it just isn't the same without Bob.

Its FRIDAY !!!

Yippee !!

I just finished a bowl of oatmeal with raisins & banana and now i'm ready to get the this day done with. It seems we'll get some rain later and that's not good because I have a bunch of stuff to donate to Habitat for Humanity. They're supposed to swing by tomorrow to pick it all up but with the pending rain....I don't know what i'm gonna do. Mainly because i'm not going to be there and was supposed to leave the stuff on the driveway. I have all the countertops which were laminate and will easily get trashed the moment any rain comes. And a dishwasher but that's been wrapped up in plastic sitting outside for a few weeks.....I hope its ok....anywho, i'll have to call HFH later and see what's up.....

Now its time to clean my oatmeal bowl and get a cup of java!!!!! I need coffeeeeeeeee

Friday?  No shit, you're right, it is Friday.  Huh. 

I've got to get some stuff in order with school.  I have the same Professor for three classes and it's getting me a little mixed up when I'm doing my research (I have a research project for each of the three).  I got a really god handle on it, but the topics are all related/inter related.  I was early yesterday and my Professor came in to prep for the class.  I always sit in the same seat (habit, name/face recognition and you're always in a better position to get questions answered if you sit up front).

He looked over at me and said "What class is this?".  I started to say the class name and he said "Oh, that's right.  I'm just got a little confused because I have you for three classes and it was all starting to blend in for a second".  lol.

Domesticated duties on tap for today.  My program is in its 30th year and is throwing their Gala celebration tonight.  Free food mixed with a dog and pony show for the check writers.  There's an afterglow at a pub in town, but I travel 45 minutes each way and I really don't wanna tie one on and have to drive that far ... too many baaaaaad things can happen.

It's raining here but who really cares?  I have no preference either way.  We always need the water .... so be it, veggies need a drink, too.

About time you woke up....you slacker....I bet you haven't even gotten out of your pj's....and I hope the boy is feeling better today.....by the way, had to pick up my daughter from school this morning at the nurses office....she has a fever and is now asleep on the couch.....

My kid isn't sick, but I did get a call from the Principle telling me that some sick kid threw up on the back of him ... does that count?

Oh my gosh...poor kid. I would be sick if that happened!

Weeeelll, ok, yes, I admit I was still in my pjs until a couple of hours ago. The boy is feeling a little better today. I hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon, Loopey! It really stinks having a sick kid.

Yeah, pretty gross ... but that which does not kill you only makes you stronger ... or something like that.  He took it in stride; he's a trooper and had a chuckle about it.  Now why parents send in their kid into school sick is another thing.  They should keep them at home like you did in order to keep the nasties from a flying.

Last night's Gala for my Grad program was pretty neat.  I never legally drank beer in a library before.  After 30 years, my program has grown to the point where it is the leader in the country in enrollment, content contribution, reputation and graduation.  They're pretty proud out there and they should be; they've worked really hard.  Also, I was pretty impressed that the University is dumping a huge amount of money (I lost count at 289 mill) into our parent department and Universities facilities with only a 3% tuition increase; which was one of the lowest in the state.  I've said it once and I'll say it again; what a HUGE, positive difference this place is from Wayne. 

The outpost gets all new wall to wall flooring (for aesthetics) next Monday; so I have to get out there sometime this weekend to prep and paint the joint, while squeezing in leading an informal regional tour of told theaters for two of my group mates (which will include a stop-by the mother's 1882 Victorian) and a surprise birthday party for a pal of mine.  I'd like to watch some football tomorrow, too; I haven't had a beer and brauts Sunday in a veeeeeery long time.
