I have a bunch of old stoves now, some what they call suitcase stoves too, like the two burner Coleman type stoves.   A few like the Svea's, two of those and one each of a Primus 71 and Optimus 80.  The kerosene burners don't smell like you would think.  I could go on.  I need to go car camping to use some of them.  Looks like my bp trip is cancelled, too much snow over Kearsarge or the Cottonwood Lakes area as plan B.

On a hike this past weekend, I was pleasantly surprised just how far my voice echoed when I yelled "Knock it off" to the group of Boy Scouts about 200 yds away who were using a laser pointer to locate our camp.

I was more surprised when you yelled "Knock it off!" up to the sky and the rain stopped.

Of course, Q overlooked the possibility it was a laser sight.  The other hikers, upon seeing the red dot appear on his forehead, decided not to voice their objections.

LASER sights are sooooooo 20th century.  They gave away their position the moment they turned it on.

Counting coup so much a lot more funner and betterist!
