lol.  I like digging old stuff out of the ground.  I think it goes back to my days as a "garbage picker" when I was growing up.

Ha ha!!

When I was a little kid in D.C. my older brother and I would roam around Northeast. I was always looking down for stuff and was pretty good at finding nickels, dimes and pennies. We would go to the drug store soda fountain with and get a couple of 5 or 10 cent cokes depending on how much loot we found.

Over beers one night, the guy that lives next door and I had a conversation about the local garbage pickers.  We figured that since the price of metals were so high, these 'pickers were prolly making a frickin` killing recycling.  We came up with an informal number of about 40,000 per year ... cash of course.  There has got to be something we're missing ... that's just too damn tempting.
