Just got back from a long hike on the North Country Trail in Northern Michigan. If you get the chance, the trail along the Manistee River is awesome. It has a lot more elevation gain then one would expect and many areas where one can see for miles over the forest.

It's one of my favorite places to hike.  I've been all over that trail and it's always a great time. 

Have you been to Jordan River yet?
