No....never heard of Decyfer Down....what genre are they?

Today i'm listening to a bunch of new stuff I downloaded over the weekend...

Mayer Hawthorne [A Strange Arrangement] - retro cool stuff...i'm diggin' it so far....
Dirty Projectors [Bitte Orca] - I didn't like my first hear thru on this duo....some of the tracks were a bit "un-melodious"...is that a word? I'm not sure what to make of it....
Ingrid Michaelson [Everybody] - another good cd
Imogen Heap [Ellipse] - she's always good for some eclectic songstylings....

Stuff I haven't gotten around to yet.....

Melody Gardot
Owl City
Regina Spektor

Miranda Lambert
Revolution

I'm not big on country....in fact, its one of the smaller genre's in the vault but I like Miranda's stuff.....so far, like I said elsewhere, this one is sounding good so far, a bit more "country" than what i've heard from her previous releases...yee haa....giddy up!

Another fairly new release to check out this morning....The XX.....another band from London doing the "dream pop" or indie rock thing....some might have heard their song Intro as promo music for Cold Case....I like these Euro synth pop bands....in fact rumours have it Kraftwerk is releasing new music in 2010...I can't wait for that!
