So what's everyone bringing for food. Freeze dried and oatmeal, for dinner and breakfast. Oatmeal is OK but not sure I want to live on freeze dried for 5 days. I've used Goya rice dinners before but cooking time is long at about 45 minutes but the rice and beans are good. We will have a supply of ramen noodles since my wife Bobbie love them for breakfast.
Fridge in one of you emails you said you would have a bear electric bear bag how big is that?

Meals......I plan on Bagels, Flour Tortilla with various Items from the Freeze dried groups....First evening meal will be totally almost fresh like Fried chicken from the Grocery store maybe....or a special SUB. Some Granola with Breakfast and Breakfast drinks, Quick on the fly lunches. I have been looking at some meals here... http://www.trailcooking.com/ I also bring Cheese, Crackers and a pepperoni stick.....pop corn around a fire. Belgium Candy Bars from Trader Joe's.......Power drinks (powdered). Let me say this.......For the last 2 years now eating Freeze Dried Foods for 4 days or more......You will get some GAZ.....LOTS of it......Trust me on this. My Electric Bear Bag is 1000 cu inches. I'll bring along just for those who need some extra secure storage for the night. |

Who's got gas and who doesn't.
Debating with myself about which stove to bring Optimus Nova+ or jetboil. I like the Nova+ better than the Jetboil wondering who else will have gas.

Eggs/ I plan on using Isobutane and 5 others I know of. One I know will have his Jet Boil.

personal check is okay with me. Thanks you. As soo as you have your arrival and flight info to Anchorage please let me know via e mail. I also will be e mailing a Bear Canister FREE rental form for your Dad to complete. He needs to have this form with him when we arrive at Slana Ranger Station to pick up his bear Canister. Having the form completed will expedite our arrival to Nabesna.

Been looking for a light weight FRY PAN for pancakes, eggs. I have never cooked with Titanium but have great success with Aluminum Teflon. I was thinking to go a bit lighter and try Titanium with teflon but reading some gear reviews it's kind of in the middle. My question is can you give me your opinion. Thanks

Never used a Ti frying pan. Never fry when hiking. When canoeing I've have used just a cheap home style frying pan since weight is not an issue then.
