Antelope, huh?

I suppose the Water Buffalo would have been way too big.

Without a map and navigation system I would probably get lost in the Water Buffalo.

Perhaps a "guide" could be of help in the Water Buffalo.

MarkO's been lost in a few sheep, but perhaps not a Water Buffalo.

As things are, Water Buffalo seems a real possiblity, or getting trampled by one. Aren't water buffalo one of the most dangerous animals in South Africa?

In the bush crocodiles and hippos are the most feared, apparently.

I give you now Professor Twist,
A conscientous scientist,
Trustees said he never bungles,
And sent him off to distant jungles.

One day, while sitting by the Nile,
He remarked he'd missed his wife a while.
She had, a guide informed him later,
Been eaten by an aligator.

Professor Twist could not but smile,
'You mean,' he said, 'a crocodile.'

Right. Just put hippos and alligators on my list of "harmful things in the bush best to be avoided". I think I have nearly everthing and everybody on my list now.

I smote MarkO because he always deserves one.

Gremlin gets an approvavl because he's from Canada and has enough problems.

Pussies!

"harmful things in the bush best to be avoided"

Mercy, I had better not say it for fear of being smote again!

That's what penicillin is for.
