Belly...yum.

We had to have leftovers. Sloppy Joes and oven fries. Better the second day imo.

Swiss France is still high and strong, so we sure can afford getting the nuts done and leave the messy work to others. We simply buy them peeled and ready salted.
Aren't cashew nuts particulare hard? How you're doin them Hyway? Stick 'em into a grove of a tree trunk and club 'em a couple of times real hard?

Starter: dates in bacon coat. I filled each date with a piece of walnut and rolled it up in a slice of bacon, then shallow fry in a pan on low heat until the bacon gets brown and crunchy. The sugar in the dates will slightly caramelize.
Main course: cheese fondue (direct delivery from Switzerland) :-)
Side salad: green beans salad

Dates, bacon, cheese, beans - I am filled up. I will slowly move towards the couche, carefully get myself into a horizontal position and zap through the tv program.
