      <description><![CDATA[When I go out to fish I like catching fish.  I know about the nice atmosphere and being out there and all that, but I need to action when I go fishing and the more the better.  I don't eat them because when I get home, I don't feel like cleaning fish and most times the places I fish are catch and release regulations anyway.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[got turkey and hawk feathers, and will have more come summer camp.  how about morning dove?  hawks are always making kills in our yard.  duck down too, the ducks are always fighting over food here even though there's plenty to go around.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Turkey, duck, goose and pheasant feathers work well for making trout flies.  Almost any feather will do for making crafts.  Sometimes I'll pick up whatever feathers I can find while I'm out hiking.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[The fishing was weak.  I was hoping to see some kind of a mayfly hatch to fish, but it never happened.  I caught a few trout on top with dry flies, but they were small and the rest never really were on the feed.  The water was pretty cold so I didn't expect fast furious action.  The fishing will pick up as the water warms and the insect activity increases.  
Yesterday, I used commercial waders with neoprene because they are warmer. My homemade waders are for when the water is warmer.

I'll get back out during the week.  Mid April can be shaky, but the best fishing is coming for May.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[My biggest trout yet was a 19&quot; brown trout caught on a bead head Hare's ear nymph in the mid 1990's. I released the fish so I don't know how much it weighed.  I caught that trout on a bigger stream, but most creeks I fish are like you said, anything over 9&quot; is a big fish.]]></description>
