I was watching Discovery last night and right after Deadliest Catch, came this show I never heard of
The Alaska Experiment
It caught my interest so I watched. I did like it. I it has four couples that have to live in ALaska for three months on there own.
we already have the whinners and cryers
the Blair Witch idoits with no map or prpoer use of a compass
and then the strong wife and dopey hubby
and the smart group. two frineds that so far look like they may be the only ones that know what they got theselves into.
so everyone is being nice, lots of thank you and can I help you.
I will continue to give this a watch. better then anything else on TV right now!

YOU'RE a bunch of uncool people.
I saw that too.
There is a couple from So. Cal. with an in-shape wife and outta shape husband.
They were backpacking UP to find a cabin and it looked like the dude might croak before he gets there.

Mapes, Birch and are really enjoying this show. We're cheering for the couple MarkO mentioned, the adventure racer wife and cement pourer husband. They are doing great.
It's been a fun show. It kind of reminds me of Frontier House a bit. I wish we would have caught the first episode. Didn't stumble upon it until last week.

I saw it this week for the first time. It reminded me of Frontier House too. I'm going to have to remember to watch it each week.

You know they are coming out with some reality show on G4 where they stuff you to overload with massive amounts of food and then put the people through various things designed to make em do the Technicolor Yawn.
Sorry but Reality shows as so much drivel.

I noticed how they put everyone in different living areas. the most capable couple are in the tent right near the water, while the bratty kids who I swear I would have left at the airport, are in the best cabin.
I do like the show and it makes you really think about what you would do.
oh by the way, the couple by the water, she knocked me out when she put the gabage can deep in the ground. other then the flooding, it was a very smart thing to do. I would not have that of that! but then again I would not have put it right IN the tent. think it will be safe from the animals? oh and the guy? what a smuck for a little muck!
