Tis here! Time to dust off the fatty and check out the local trail conditions.

Headed to Davidson Mesa (a cruiser, flat double track) and then to Rabbit Ears, single/double track fairly easy (supposedly) on the tech side.

Should be good kick off rides for spring.

:)

I rode my mountain bike outside last evening for the first time this year. I have slicks on this bike and rode on pavement, but Thursday evening, I'm taking my other mountain bike out in the woods for a ride.

cool beans Rich!

rabbit mtn was a fun ride - the initial half mile uphill got my heart pumping and showed me i'm out of shape for biking! The loop at the top was perfect for a first ride of the season, just enuff technical stuff to keep me on my toes, but not so much that it was "hard" to ride.

It was nice to get outside and ride, after riding the trainer in the house all winter it was getting boring. It did help for sure and much better than not riding at all for the whole winter.

I went for a nice mountain bike ride last evening. It felt good to be riding out in the woods again. I felt good on the bike from riding the trainer all winter. I made it up all the hills I normally ride up so for the first mountain bike ride of the year, I thought that was pretty good.
