Aluminum headrail with fiberglass-composite side struts actively transfer load to waistbelt and resist sagging. Hydration reservoir compartment can be accessed from outside, between torso adjustment and pack compartment; hanging clip holds reservoir. Bottom of pack features sleeping pad straps and a zippered lower compartment for a sleeping bag or extra gear. Front and side stretch-woven pockets are ideal for stashing jacket, helmet, book or other often-used gear.
