Stiffer plastic is placed along the arch to optimize foot support and energy transfer to the ski. Reliefs in the plastic along the instep create a hinge system accommodating easy entry and exit; soft plastic where the shell overlaps also aids entry. 104mm-wide forefoot and anatomic shape accommodate a wide range of foot widths and shapes. Thermo Fit liner is heat moldable to fit individual foot and ankle contours; soft faux-fur lining and neoprene toe box add comfort and warmth. Heel of liner is wrapped in a thick layer of shock-absorbing elastomer, protecting your feet against hard landings. Removable plastic insert further damps shocks and vibrations and improves fit by allowing volume adjustment. Loop on tongue aids putting the boot on and taking it off. Four microadjustable aluminum buckles let you dial in the fit to suit your personal comfort and performance requirements. Two tool-free buckle catches provide 22mm of adjustability to fit a range of ankle sizes. 28mm cuff strap acts as a fifth buckle allowing you to set the firmness around the upper ankle as you prefer for comfort or performance.
