Vertical sidewalls and torsion box design provide excellent grip, stability and sensitivity. Dense wood underfoot provides excellent screw retention; soft poplar wood in the remainder of the ski creates snappy responsiveness. Women-specific wood core uses lightweight but structurally sound balsa wood, creating a core that is lighter and more flexible than comparable unisex skis. Dimension-3 sidecut, designed to optimize the ski's flexed shape, contacts snow with an even pressure that yields incredibly smooth turns. Soft-flexing Butter Zones in the tip and tail of ski allow smooth and controlled nose and tail presses. Twin-tip construction has fully symmetric sidecut to give riding switch the same carving characteristics as riding forward.
