Single-piece, reverse suede uppers are tough and treated with HS12 waterproofing. Articulated, padded ankles allow essential freedom of movement. Gore-Tex® liners make these boots waterproof yet breathable, for comfort in a variety of conditions. Duratherm® insulation and additional padding make boots warm and supportive for 4-season use. Stiff Pro-Fiber polypropylene midsoles have polyurethane-reinforced heels for toe-strap crampons. Pro-Fiber midsoles offer ample rigidity to support the crampons, yet also have enough longitudinal flex for comfort when walking. Vibram® outsoles offer excellent grip, stability and durability; high rubber rands also provide protection against abrasion.
