Osprey AirScape lightweight backpanel features ridge-molded foam with channels covered in mesh to allow airflow. Mesh-covered perforated shoulder straps and hipbelt save weight and enhance breathability. Fits a variety of backs thanks to its torso length adjustment: just rip it, adjust it and stick it. Aluminum headrail with fiberglass-composite side struts actively transfer load to waistbelt and resist sagging. Hydration reservoir compartment can be accessed from outside, between torso adjustment and pack compartment; hanging clip holds reservoir. Bottom of pack features sleeping pad straps and a zippered lower compartment for a sleeping bag or extra gear. Front and side stretch-woven pockets are ideal for stashing jacket, helmet, book or other often-used gear. Twin stretch pockets on shoulder straps, sized to fit cell phones, energy gel packets, GPS or just stash hydration tube end.
