The back-saving Freightliners by Patagonia are built to endure far more challenging terrain than an airline concourse (or carousel) can provide. The wheels, easily capable of handling offroad travel, are the same as those found on the best in-line skates. The fabric is tough Ballistics nylon, coated for water-resistance and lined with 420-denier nylon pack cloth. The bottom is molded foam and Ballistics for impact- and water-resistance. The Freightliner has two main storage areas, a main top cavern (with a mesh pocket inside the lid) and a large end cubicle. The top and bottom segments are separated by a floating baffle, allowing you to expand the load into either compartment. The Max has a single main compartment with zippered top pocket.
