The Bimini Cap is Patagonia's all-day-sun-protection hat, with neck flap and a large bill for total coverage. Like its namesake, this hat is a welcome retreat from wilting heat. The Patagonia Bimini's cool 4.2-oz nylon fabric sheds water, dries quickly, and has a light hand to temper tropical temperatures. A supple, removable rear flap shields ears and neck from searing rays. Details: a generous, floatable foam bill with a dark underside to cut glare, a moisture-wicking Coolmax headband and an adjustable buckle in the rear to fine-tune the fit.
