Mammut Serenity Coating Finish 8.9mm x 70m Dry Rope

The ultralight Mammut® Serenity rope is great for times when weight is the main concern. One of the smallest and lightest ropes in the industry. Coating Finish™ process uses Teflon® to treat individual fibers resulting in reduced abrasion, better load distribution and durability. Superdry™ sheath and core treatment discourages water absorption while resisting dirt and abrasion. Duraflex™ heat-treatment process on the finished rope helps maintain smooth handling characteristics over time. Kernmantle design combines durable braided sheath and shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. 8.9 mm diameter is light and useful on difficult pitches and still strong enough to use as a single rope, excelling at longer sport and alpine routes. 70-meter length allows considerably longer leads and rappels. Meets or exceeds UIAA tests for falls, impact force and elongation. Triosafe feature employs black markings at the rope center and about 15 feet from the rope ends for extra safety when rappelling or lowering. Includes Anti-Twist™ packaging to help uncoil rope without imparting twists and kinks to it, improving handling and optimizing performance.
