Toxic pesticides are eliminated in every step of the growing process of organic cotton, resulting in far less impact on the environment. Hemp fibers grow more densely than cotton and do not require pesticides, making hemp an environmentally sound choice. Soft polyester toe posts are comfortable between toes. Soy fiber linings breathe well and are soft against bare feet. Anatomic, partially recycled EVA topsoles/midsoles cushion well and are contoured to supply gentle arch support. Durable rubber outsoles are made from 30% recycled rubber and provide solid traction. All components are made with water-based cements so fewer toxins are released into the air during manufacturing.
