Made from durable high-density polyester for lasting resistance to the elements; welded seams and durable PVC coating resist leakage. Two stiffening bars, fore and aft of cockpit, keep deck rigid and deter water pooling. Four D-ring lash tabs allow easy securing of map pockets or deck bags. Heavy-duty coil zipper with metal slider provides easy installation while kayak is deflated. Inflatable coaming with two twist-open air valves creates a rigid barrier from spray and deluge while offering firm attachment for spray skirt. Folds down easily into included mesh storage bag with drawcord closure.
